Doll 005 is another piece following my Doll and Mitternacht characters. I see this one as a bit of exploration of the Doll's anxiety and angst surrounding her difficult dynamic with Mitternacht. In particular I see this as a scene from a nightmare. The books contain the Doll's foundational memories, building a perch from which it is too high to jump. Mitternacht appears, at least one of its hands, appearing behind the Doll as a reminder that she is never truly alone. (Special thanks to Julia.)
