An improved re-do of an older face project this marked the first proper plaster casting piece that was not built-up plaster layers around an extruded polystyrene foam base. That old design was inherently flawed (which was started during Child 001), this marked the improvement in my technique.
Personally I love the contentment in the expression of this piece. A raw, fleshy person, emotionally open and peaceful.
